We Made A
Difference!
Marshall
County PALS members and other volunteers join together throughout the year
for organized cleanups along our county roadsides. Sometimes it is a
daunting prospect to

mascot for Marshall County PALS, partnered with Whitaker Contracting
Corporation for "Make a Difference Day" at the Guntersville Library.
Children heard the story "Building Roads" by B.G. Hennessy, along with
learning tips on traffic safety, traffic signs and preventing litter
along the roads. Lynn McWhorter, the safety supervisor at Whitaker
Contracting, led a class about flagging and traffic devices. Whitaker
Contracting also handed out vehicle trash bags reflecting work zone
awareness tips and the PALS' logo, "Stash the Trash
